Times are tough and many people are looking for ways to make a quick buck with little to no effort. We have seen some unscrupulous things going on lately and we feel you ought to know about them. The first Filipina Scams alert we are going to tell you about are the Filipina Scams that run rampant in the online chat rooms and dating sites.
With the internet technology growing at a rapid pace, men are looking to meet women online more than ever in hopes of finding true love. With this, they are often left open to be preyed upon by women (or men posing as women) lurking in the wings on the internet.
Since we've been in business, we've seen and heard of stories where men being taken for a ride by the women they've met online. What we are finding is that men are going online and putting so much faith and trust in the system that they are do things with online women that they wouldn't do with strangers. They feel that online women are sincere and honest and quickly get lured into a false sense of love.
The story goes that men feel if they've been chatting to a girl a few times that the girl must really be interested in them. This is where the scams starts and how men are quickly being taken advantage of.
Since the men have developed a false sense of love with their new online friend, it ends up getting them into trouble with one of the biggest Filipina scams. The men put so much trust in these online women that it opens them up to being scammed. Not all the women on the internet are like this, but we are seeing a growing trend.
How does it work? What we are seeing is that these online women (or men) have several chat partners and are never really serious with any one man. The majority of these women are just online to fish. They know that there are many foreign men online searching for true love and they use this against them. They know if they can tug on their heart strings that they will eventually persuade them into doing things they want and a lot of times it involves sending money.
It's sad, but this happens all the time. Foreign men get so attracted to these women that they quickly open their wallets and send them money. They think that if they send them a little bit of money now, that the girl will love them more and stick with them. The only commitment this creates is the future commitment of her asking you for more money. Many foreign men keep doing this and end up sending a lot of money to these women. Some have sent thousands of dollars and keep doing it.

They have developed a nice list of foreign men they like to chat with and are interested in someday meeting. They hope one of them will come to the Philippines to meet them. Now if you are not the first one to meet her, then you might end up broken hearted as she quickly disappears or leaves you a Dear John letter. This has happened to many men and we hear reports about this heart breaker all the time.

Some of these agencies have gone as far as saying they've been in business since the time we started.
We've seen and heard recent reports of where these operators have cheated innocent foreign men out of thousands of dollars. These operators had promised them the world and delivered nothing but a bad tour experience.
So our last Filipina Scams alert warning to you is to make sure you check out any agency you are thinking of dealing with before signing up. Never send them money through channels that are not secure! Don't send them cash, a money order, or a deposit through Western Union!
