Cebu has a pleasant change of seasons. There is basically the wet cooler period from October to February and the hotter dry period from about March to September. The hottest months of the year are March and April.
The Philippines is part of the typhoon belt and is visited by about 22 typhoons a year. Cebu is situated on the southern edge of typhoon belt so the island is not effected very often, statistically once in every 40 years. The Philippines typhoon season is primarily from May to December.
